At the beginning of every year, we like to look back at which games were most popular over the course of the previous year. Some games, like the FIFA series and Super Smash Bros., remain relatively constant in popularity over the years, while others are surprise hits. Here are our most popular games for 2019, all of which were played at least 50 times over the course of the year.

On Friday, October 11th, U-M Library held a mini book making workshop in Design Lab Pie Space hosted by Ben Denzer, author of the Cheese Book. The workshop taught participants book binding using the perfect binding method and I left having made my own soft-cover book.

The Blue is a historical thriller of industrial espionage in the world of 18th century porcelain manufacture. The heroine is a talented artist who wishes to become a serious painter, but, as a woman, that path is blocked to her in England. In Venice it would be a different story, but she doesn't have the money to go there. An unscrupulous nobleman offers to finance her journey to Venice if she accepts a job at a porcelain factory and steals the formula for a stunning new shade of blue. But the stakes are higher than she ever expected.
