Since Winter term is over, we wanted to pass along our list of the most popular games played in the archive during the Winter term. And since we're highlighting popularity for a whole semester, we thought we'd list the top 20 rather than just the usual top 10.

The archive has been filled with Star Wars: Battlefront (PS4) and Star Wars: Battlefront II (PS2) ever since the new Star Wars movie came out. What a way to celebrate the series.
We also had a fair amount of Smash and Mario Kart played, in addition to the usual FIFA and first-person shooter presence.

As the Legend of Zelda series celebrates its 30th anniversary, people have joined in the festivities online in several ways. Whether musing over the 10 Life Lessons the Legend of Zelda Taught Us, or anticipating the release of the Twilight Princess' HD Remake, it's a good time to refamiliarize yourself with the series.

Along those lines, we'd like to share some of the Legend of Zelda titles we have in our collection. We hope they'll bring back some great memories, and help you look forward to many more!

We got a donation earlier this month with a number of older game gems, including Frogger the Board Game. The inside bears quite a resemblance to the video game screen that most of us are familiar with. We also got a number of Atari 5200 and Atari Lynx games in the donation, several with really interesting covers.

Here are our most popular games played in the archive during the month of January. FIFA definitely tops the list, with the Xbox One version finally surpassing the Xbox 360 version. The new Star Wars Battlefront falls shortly behind, also causing a resurgence of the older PlayStation 2 Battlefront game further down the list.

Welcome to the new year, everyone. We've tallied up the list of most popular games in the archive during 2015, and posted them below. We have the usual list of sports games and first-person shooters, but were also happy to see the new Smash on the list, as well as Mario Kart. Which games do you think will be the most popular for 2016?

We recently acquired access to several game add-ons of note, and thought we'd share them here in case you'd like to check them out in the CVGA. Which ones do you recognize/remember playing when they first came out? We'd love to hear in the comments.
