Board Game Night

On Thursday, November 6th, the library student ambassadors hosted a spectacular Board Game Night on the 4th floor of the Shapiro Library! The event was intended to help students destress and have some fun during this somewhat drab, midterm-heavy season. We had beautiful displays of various, traditional tabletop games like Jenga, Candyland, puzzle sets, and even giant Uno! We also had some delicious, cheesy pizza from the esteemed Pizza House, which was a huge hit.

Students had a blast dropping in throughout the event, either grabbing some energizing snacks for study sessions or having seriously competitive gaming sessions with their friends. Some students also enjoyed simply meeting new people and having light conversations about school and life. I can speak for all of the university’s library staff when I say that hosting these events and getting to see the engagement from students is one of the best parts of our jobs! Big thank you to everyone involved in the event either as a coordinator or a participant, and please be sure to stay tuned for future library events!
