On Friday, November 21st, the library Student Ambassadors hosted a Sip and Paint in the third floor Shapiro Gallery! The event allowed students to socialize with one another over some non-alcoholic beverages and crafts. We provided canvases and paint, as well as iced tea, and sparkling grape juice, and apple cider. Students would sign in, grab their supplies, and just hang out with their friends in a low-stress setting.
Students enjoyed the calming atmosphere, which provided a much-needed break to many with final exam season approaching. Several students got their pictures taken with their final artwork, and they painted everything from self-portraits to penguins to Block Ms. Overall, the Sip and Paint event was definitely a hit with students, and we look forward to seeing you there again next year!
