The library purchases many of the study guides that help applicants prepare for various graduate and professional school entrance examinations. On Central Campus, most of the current ones are located in the Shapiro Undergraduate Library’s College and Career Success Collection. On North Campus you can find these in the Career Collection at the Art, Architecture and Engineering Library. You can also search for specific test names in Mirlyn to locate books on specific exams.
Recently the Shapiro Undergraduate Library received a donation of current study guides for graduate school entrance exams and TOEFL from LSA Student Government’s Diversity Affairs Committee as part of their mission to understand and address the intersection between financial backgrounds and educational prospects. These books are also located in the College and Career Success Collection.
In addition to the exam study guides, we also have books on preparing the essays.
Thanks to MeL (Michigan Electronic Library) we also have access to Learning Express Library which includes, among other things, sample practice exams for the GMAT, GRE, LSAT, MAT, MCAT, and PCAT. To get to these, go to Learning Express Library, click on College Center, and then click on Resources, and then Prepare for Graduate School Admission Exams.
