The next version of Mirlyn (mirlyn.lib.umich.edu) is going to take some time to create, but let's take a peek under the hood and see how the next generation of search will work.
Search is the cornerstone of the library website, and the primary goal of our online presence: to help users find resources and information so that they can do their work.
The last visual refresh to the DLPS Image Class environment updated the layout and styles, but mostly worked the same way. Starting this year, we've been making more drastic changes. These updates were based on what our analytics showed about browser use (larger, wider screens and of course, mobile use) and conversations with collection managers.
