Coffee with the Curator: American Home Cooking in the 1920s

Join Curator Juli McLoone on Tuesday, Oct. 13th from 2:00-3:00pm for coffee and conversation on about the exhibit Faster and More Fun: American Home Cooking in the 1920s. Learn the origin story of the original inspiration for the exhibit, the paths it didn't quite take after all, and stories from a few of the curator's favorite "also ran" books that didn't quite make it into the cases, including Alice Foote MacDougall's Coffee and Waffles (1926), Lulu Hunt Peter's Diet and Health with Key to the Calories (1922), and The Wolverine Cook Book (192-) issued by the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Michigan Rural Letter Carriers' Association.
