Resin Flow Chamber for Research Project

I needed a flow-through chamber for my project to store a cation exchange resin and connect to peristaltic pump tubing. I custommade it for my scientific research to be a cylindrical tube 10cm in length with additional 1 cm connections to the peristaltic tubing. I made the 3d model using TinkerCAD. It was very easy, and the staff were super helpful in ensuring everything looked OK before printing. This was my first experience with 3D printing, and hopefully won’t be the last!

A set of gray 3D printed parts on a white napkin standing on a gray table. On the napkin are two tall cylinders, and one has a small piping end on the top. Additionally, there are four small tubes laying sideways on the end of the napkin.

The final print! The connections for peristaltic tubing is on the napkin.
