I recently biked a course in the Andes Mountains in South America and wanted to keep the memory close. I used an application to make a map of the trail within the mountains into a 3d printable format. At the Shapiro Design Lab, they helped me to print the files in two pieces that would fit together. It took a couple of tries, but it eventually came out perfectly. The course is printed in red PLA with a lot of precision to fit exactly to the mountains piece which is printed rock PLA.
