One Giant Tooth-Vase

Last week, I 3D printed my first model at the Design Lab. I was extremely nervous as it was my first project, but the staff at the Design Lab were so helpful and patient with me throughout the process. Not only did they help me with the Prusa Slicer program, but they walked me through it step-by-step so I could learn more about the process.

I also find the project on Printables and it's such a resourceful website!

Unfortunately, the print messed up halfway through, leading to one of the roots being snapped off (which you can see in the photo). The staff offered to reprint it, but I found that hot glueing together worked just fine! I also used the painting materials at the Design Lab to turn the final product into a white, shiny tooth vase I am planning on gifting to my dentist.

This was such a great experience and I am looking forward to pursuing more personal projects in the future!
