I used the 3D printer to create a model of my product “Mood Pal” for my interaction design class. This product helps children acclimate back into the classroom post-covid, where anxiety in children spiked. This is a 3 button device where each button represents a different emotion. When pushed, it notifies the teacher who then can go help
with their concern.

I was able to smoothly print my 3D model with the great staff at the Shapiro 3D printing lab. They explained the entire process to me which was super insightful because I have no experience with 3D printers.

This model was used in my final presentation and was passed around to the students so they could get a feel of the size and functionality of the product.
