For this project, I created a custom engraving of the Mickey Mouse family for my kids’ room. I wanted to make something fun and personal that they could enjoy every day, while also practicing digital design and fabrication skills.
I designed the artwork digitally and engraved it onto wood using the Design Lab equipment. The engraving came out clean and detailed, and the material choice gave the piece a warm, playful look that fits well in a children’s space.
My experience in the Design Lab was very positive. The equipment was easy to use, and the lab team was extremely helpful, making sure the process went smoothly from start to finish.
