In trying to make my dorm room movie themed I came across this little decoration on Thingiverse and I decided to use this as a personal interest 3d printing project while getting acquainted with the resources on campus. It’s a very popular print and there were not any any comments about problems with printing so I decided to give it a try (someone noted that you need supports for one part of the 3d model but that’s natural for a lot of models). It comes in 3 parts and I after printing just one as a test first, I printed the others.
This was such a seamless and fun process! The little Totoro family came out so well and I was offered so much help during the process of printing these cute fellows out. Now I have a new collection to add to my dorm decor!
