This is a basic 6 inch/15 centimeter ruler that I wanted to 3D print for my school work. I made the 3d model myself on SolidWorks and didn't make the ruler too complex because this was my first attempt at 3D printing something. I added a line of holes down the center of the ruler to help me trace out circles of different radii.
The print was very nice and the thinness of the ruler allowed it to be somewhat bendable as well. The ruler is very lightweight and the bottom side is rather smooth to the touch.
I really appreciate the help that the Shapiro Design Lab staff gave me while working on this project and it was a lot of fun doing so. I hope to 3D print more mini projects in the near future.
