I made a guitar peg winder for my automatic guitar tuner project. The project is for my EECS 452 Major Design Experience course.
I learned that having the design in the correct units is very important. When I got to the lab my design was 30x larger than what I needed it to be. When I looked the units were in inches when I should have had it in millimeters.
In the end, the people at the design lab were very helpful and worked with me to get my design in the correct dimensions. Next time I will make sure my model is in the correct units.
