For this project, I wanted to create an ornate jewelry box to hold a necklace I purchased for my girlfriend's birthday. I decided to keep the actual box simple without any complex joints or edges, as I wanted to leave the complexity to the design on the top.
After modeling the box in Fusion360 I printed the box in 2 pieces using gray PLA, and then used a sharpie to go over the top design and make it stand out. In the end, I was very happy with the final product, and despite the complexity of the top, I think it came out very well.
Thanks to the Design Lab for their help in completing this project. I look forward to hopefully doing another project in the future!
