I recently printed a mask for a costume with the help of the Design Lab staff! It was my first time using a 3D printer, and they were super helpful and welcoming. They worked with me to make sure it was to the right scale to fit my face and patiently explained the basics of 3D printing. After printing, I sanded it down and used a blow dryer to warm it up a little so that I could mold it to my face. After it cooled, I painted it to be the right color. You can find the link to the 3D model here.
