I printed to-scale scans of human foot bones, to compare with scans of modified human foot bones as a result of footbinding. This was for a research presentation at the American Association of Biological Anthropology conference, where I talked about my Asian Studies thesis project on human skeletal modification as a result of footbinding. I used the models to engage with my audience and provide an on-site comparison of the impact footbinding had on bone morphology.
