3D Printed Cup Holder

My partner recently told me that UofM offers free 3D Printing for students, which got me really excited because I am a mechanical engineer and used to 3D print a lot of my designs back in undergrad. I still had the CAD software on my laptop so this service allowed me to get back into something I love doing. I wanted to start by designing something relatively simple to refamiliarize myself with designing and printing.

I have one of those huge Hydroflasks that don't fit in regular cup holders, so I end up keeping it on or under the passenger seat, where it always rolls around and makes noise. I know Amazon sells cup holder adapters for rather cheap, but I thought it would be pretty easy to make one from scratch! I dug up my calipers and measured my cup holder and bottle, and used SolidWorks to design the adapter. It fits perfectly!
