"Intersections: Cultures, Identities, Narratives" is an upcoming online exhibition drawn from the Special Collections Library’s substantial holdings of artists’ books and centers on the artist Rolando Estévez, whose artistic oeuvre bridges the productivity of the Cuban imprint, Ediciones Vigía, to his more recently launched solo imprint, El Fortín. This exhibit examines the various ways art and literature, and the artist and his collaborative and solo works intersect to provide multicultural textual, artistic, and literary experiences.
Brief remarks by the librarian and faculty curatorial collaborative team and special guests will be accompanied by light refreshments and feature a multimedia mini-exhibition of select items that will be found in the online exhibit.
*Visitors are welcome to preview a soft launch of the mini-exhibit that will begin November 17th and will be on display through December 2nd. See Duderstadt Center hours to plan your visit.
