We are excited to announce a showing of Secret Love in Peach Blossom Land (暗戀桃花源 An Lian Tao Hua Yuan) at the State Theatre on Wednesday, March 27. We will be joined by the film's legendary director, Stan Lai, who will be available for Q&A after the film.

Asia Library and the Lierberthal-Rogel Center for Chinese Studies are collaborating on a new film series.

Daniela Stockmann, Professor of Digital Politics and Media at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, will be the next speaker in the Deep Dive into Digital and Data Methods for Chinese Studies series, October 26-27.

From September 19 to November 15, the Asia Library (Hatcher Graduate Library 4th Floor North) will be hosting an exhibit that commemorates the 45th anniversary of the Chinese Table Tennis Delegation’s historic visit to the U.S. in 1972, especially to Ann Arbor and the U-M.

Last year, the Lieberthal-Rogel Center for Chinese Studies (LRCCS) and the Asia Library began co-sponsorship of a new series of guest lectures and workshops under the title Deep Dive into Digital and Data Methods in Chinese Studies.
